Youth Lead Change Community Award & Outward Bound Scholarship Application

Let us recognize you for making a difference in our community! Youth Lead Change is now accepting applications from through December 9th.

The YLC leadership award will include include:

  • An Outward Bound wilderness course to deepen your skills. Your whole team will be recognized and offered at least one Outward Bound scholarship for your leadership.
  • Peace First will offer you a $250 mini-grant after your first mentoring phone call.
  • Awards will be presented by Village of Key Biscayne Mayor Mike Davey on January 28th at the Village Council meeting.
  •  Your project will be featured in local news.

You are eligible If you are between ages 14 and 25 and either live on Key Biscayne or attend MAST Academy (no matter where you live).  Projects should address issues affecting our community. We encourage you to think globally and act locally.

Here’s how to apply – Deadline Midnight, December 9th:

  1. Post your project on Peacefirst.org
  2. Submit your project on Youthleadkb.org
  3. Fill out the application form below
